Manitoulin Island is the largest freshwater island in the world. Uncle Steve's Park & Cabins is a modern tent and trailer park located on the shores of beautiful Lake Manitou, Manitoulin's largest lake.

Lake Manitou offers a wide variety of activities. If you are an avid fisherman you can test your angling skills on hard fighting small-mouth bass, or large lake trout. If you enjoy a feed of fresh fish the lake holds a large population of Jumbo Perch. Boating and swimming are also some favorite pastimes on Lake Manitou.

Enjoy a wide range of activities at Uncle Steve's. We offer aluminum boat and motor rentals, whether you want to enjoy a day of fishing, or just tour the shores of lake Manitou. Boat launching facilities are also available for those wishing to dock their own boats. If you are looking for a slower pace, safe and sturdy canoes and kayaks are also available to rent.

Uncle Steve's sand beach with flat rock bottom is often a popular spot for campers. For those who wish to stay dry, enjoy curling up with a good book or playing cards in our lodge, built as part of the original camp. We also have a small store for your convenience including groceries, fishing tackle, pop, ice cream and sundries.

Uncle Steve's is located close to many of Manitoulin Island's attractions, fine restaurants, hiking trails (including the famous "Cup & Saucer"), beaches, horseback riding, cycling, tennis and golf courses. These are just a few of activities you can enjoy will visiting Uncle Steve's Park & Cabins.
